Lisa is passionate about healthcare with a special interest in female health and foot conditions in later life. She specialised in age and ageism while studying for her psychology degree. Her health and science degree studies involved the development and pathologies of the human foot, particularly in people with diabetes.

What is a Medical Pedicure?
This new service is extremely popular with our clients. Just as we devote time and care to our face and body it’s time to indulge our often neglected feet.
A “medi-pedi” is a relaxing treatment and complete overhaul for your feet. It’s performed by a fully qualified foot healthcare specialist who will ask about your medical history and medications. After a thorough examination your concerns will be addressed and advice given on how to keep your feet healthy and looking their best.

Unwanted hard skin/callus is removed (usually with a scalpel) and corns and verrucae are treated. Nails are cut, cleaned and filed and the treatment is performed on dry skin for longer lasting results. We can help with ingrowing toenails and most other foot pathologies. The treatment ends with exfoliation, intense moisturising and massage (optional). Your feet will feel rejuvenated with an improvement in their appearance. Our aim is to to leave feet looking healthier and natural (painting toenails is not part of the treatment). We allow at least an hour and a half for this treatment depending on procedures needed.
The price is £70 which includes the cost of a disposable pack of medical grade sterile equipment, used for each client to maintain Footwell’s optimum hygiene standards.
